Webmail Clients

SquirrelMail (PHP)

SquirrelMail is probably my most favorite email client - not just webmail client. Its taken me awhile to fully embrace it, but over the past five or six years, its worked very well for my company and our clients.

I've used Mozilla Thunderbird extensively as well, but after switching computers from time to time, I found it easier to use SquirrelMail and not have to setup accounts again and again.

SquirrelMail Plugins

• Change Password (very nice!!)
• Vacation Auto-Responders (I don't use it, but my clients do)

RoundCube (PHP)

RoundCube is nice for eye-candy. but the last time I checked, it lacks a very important component which my clients rely upon: vacation auto-responders.

RoundCube Plugins

• Manageseive - this is huge! It made me want to switch back to RoundCube, but I never found the time
• Vacation - apparently there is a vacation auto-responder plug-in!!

Mailr (Ruby)

This is a simple webmail client written in Ruby. It caught my attention because it is written in Ruby, but its written on top of Ruby on Rails, whereas I prefer Sinatra.
